These ads were produced by the Adolph Bloch Agency. They were on the second floor of the building that housed Fuller's Coffee Shop at 108 NW 9th. At one time Bloch was the largest ad agency in Portland. NW 9th was the graphics art printing center of Portland.
When I came to Portland in 1970 Bloch was still alive. It was if time has stood still in his shop. It could have been a perfect movie set for a 1920s/1930s ad agency. All the executive offices, cubicles and secretarial desk were still there. The odd shaped dial phones circa 1920s -1930s were still connected on the desks. A complete advertising office, only no one worked there, just Adolph who rambled from office to office. Every desk was piled high with old ad proofs. He was still handling both Drs. Semler, and Bernard. Visiting this office was like something out of the Twilight Zone. I've always been sorry I never went back and visited him more.
Bloch's home if I remember correctly was one of the largest in the Northwest Hills. A Georgian style mansion with columns. Maybe on Thurman.

Interesting. Those ads do look alike! Heard for years from my Dad that these Dentists were hacks and crooks only looking for saps to sign up for monthly payments.

Its really catchy but I suggest that people should not easily to these types of scheme. You may be paying more than saving in the end. Do the math before you set an appointment to these kinds of dentist.
