The flip side????

('Til) I Kissed You

THE EVERLY BROTHERS: Don & his younger brother..."baby-boy" Phil... Nobody ever sounded like them. Their close-knit harmonies were a result of family singing & playing. Both lads sang with their mom & dad on the radio & were invited to record in Nashville by Chet Atkins ! Don (born in 1937) began performing at age 8. Phil (born in '39) started at age 6.

Today is Phil Everly's birthday !!! (January 19, 1939) He was born in Chicago while older brother Don was born in Brownie Kentucky.

Of course, their GREATEST hits included: "BYE BYE LOVE", "WAKE UP LITTLE SUZIE", "ALL I HAVE TO DO IS DREAM ", "CATHY'S CLOWN " & who among us could forget "BIRD DOG" ???

Also, many here among us love: "CLAUDETTE" (written by Roy Orbison), "DEVOTED TO YOU", "POOR JENNY" & "('TIL) I KISSED YOU" , which by the way was not the fip side of "PROBLEMS". It was a song called "LOVE OF MY LIFE".

LONG LIVE THE EVERLY BROTHERS !!! and Happy Birthday to "Baby-Boy" Phil...

I think Cathy's Clown was the first one for Warner Bros.
