I sure do! left Yaw's for a stint there, Horst is great, but one tough cookie.
Went back to the Top Notch after about a month.

Horst Mager ran Portland restaurants when they served real food...before the menus started featuring assortments of sticks and weeds.

I went to a dinner party at the Tivoli Garden once - food and service were actually quite good. Too bad it didn't last. The location is now the Mandarin Cove Chinese Restaurant.

Tivoli was fresh and new and very un-German. Went there dozens of times. When Mandarin Cove came into the space in the late Eighties they were pretty good by Portland standards of the day. However, they spent may $100 on refurbishing Horst's interior. Over the years bought a few new chairs and added some needless CRT TVs.
My now 18 year old used to order a flaming dish when he was 4 or 5 and amazed the other diners. Looked dangerous but wasn't.
Slow decline in management interest ever since that era... Sad but kinda par for the course.
