Ahhhh... The Great JIMMY DURANTE & LOUIS "SATCHMO" ARMSTRONG... What showmanship, what "genius", what fabulous talent...

You know, when Armstrong came out with "WEST END BLUES" it knocked the world upside down !!! It was as revolutionary a song to those times as "HEARTBREAK HOTEL", "LIKE A ROLLING STONE", "SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEART CLUB'S BAND", or "GOOD VIBRATION'S" were in their day... SATCHMO was as well-loved on stage & off. His audience just adored him. Who's to blame them ???

And, JIMMY DURANTE had one of the best shows in the history of early Television. His timing was impeccable.

Thank you Mr. Stumpman, Cub Reporter Barbie & all the pals in Stumpland...

LOVE this kind of REAL Entertainment!!! (GREAT words shared by Mr. Stump to go with the clip too!) ...for without the FANS there is no future!

Oh c'mon, why should Brittney Spears and Justin Bieber acknowledge their fans. With talent like theirs we should just be glad they honor us by performing for us.

Just watched this on my birthday. These guys were terrific...and the timing of my viewing couldn't have been better!!!
