I mc'd the concert! The "grubbiest" guy in the house was Eric Burden! It was a fabulous concert and Ed Dougherty was able to maintain a "squeeky clean" image and still pack the Salem Armory with huge crowds for the biggest acts in rock!

It does make you wonder, these days exactly what would be considered grubbies? Would it have something to do with how frayed your jeans were and exactly where the holes were? If the holes were in the crotch or buttocks area, would you have to be wearing underwear?
