Inspiring story. I especially liked the part about closing the Chicago factory and outsourcing the construction of the wagons. Dollars to doughnuts the unions had a whole lot to do with that decision. Oh well, someday (dis)organized labor will learn that we now live in a world market.
Hell, they can't even get real people to participate in their demonstrations. For their recent "protests" against Wal-Mart and McDonald's they had to hire and bus in homeless people and order them not to talk to any reporters.
It looks like that while the nation has to suffer Chicago politics, Chicagoans are kissing the corruption goodbye. This is just another reason the population of Chicago is as low as it has been in almost a century.

Wonderful. Right up until the third generation closes the old Chicago factory and "out sources". I'm glad I acquired my sons just before that fateful move. Though I was not especially prescient.

I am starting to blog a little later than the rest, courtesy to the pain of having a wisdom teeth pulled out. Some might question my intelligence in getting a wisdom tooth pulled out in a foreign country, but for those without a dental plan in their health insurance, getting a wisdom tooth
