Tom Peterson was one the best old time merchants ever.
I once heard him speak, I never forgot what he said:
"There are 100 TV sets sold in Portland every day. I just want to sell 10 of them."
He was a Portland Treasure.

Mr. P made a mint on Muntz.
A genius in retail merchandising. A legend.
He came along at exactly the right time.
Color TV had just made it's debut.
They say it's all about timing.
