Uh, John, Nixon got elected in 1968 with a "secret plan" to end the war. Come the 1972 election, he was still working on it. When he resigned, we were still there. It was during Ford's short reign that we bugged out.

uh pete, it was nixon's doing! not fords, ford was there for the last troops, but nixon sealed the deal!

Tricky Dick got us out of Viet Nam about like Bush got us out of Iraq. He took his sweet ass
time about it. He and that kraut, Kissinger. LBJ should have gotten the US out of there when
he took office.
