Macs, a toy then, a toy now.

I still remember that ad. It only ran once and is considered one of the best ads in history:

I don't believe a Mac is a toy!!!
I bought one of these in 1985. It was great. No Fortran, no programming to do. Anyone could use it. And it had drop down menus. Gee, Mac had to teach all the other computer manufacturers about "windows"!!!!!!!

I was a media supervisor for a large school district. Apple gave one of these to each school. We created a lab at the district office. Created a computer department and new supervisor. Good from the beginning.
