In the 1970s a buddy sold Volvo cars in the LA area. One day Leonard Nimoy bought a car for his daughter. My friend delivered the car to Nimoy's house, where he was graciously invited inside. Hanging on a wall in Nimoy's den was a framed pair of his famous ears.
