The fact he was black robbed him of the same acclaim heaped on Elvis. Not to mention some of the battles he had throughout his life with The Man. In my book though he's got as much to do with founding rock'n'roll as anyone who ever lived. Without him music would have developed far differently than what we know today. RIP Chuck!
