spent lots of time in the broadway and the paramount! at least one of them survived sorta.

In the early 1950's this used to be the best drag racing street. Since it was two-way then, we'd drive south up to the Paramount, make a U-turn, then head downhill with foot off the accelerator, letting our tailpipes make that awesome reverb all the way to Morrison.
