Stumpman, I like it when you put up Seaside photos. I was a Cannon Beach kid, in that the family had a little piece of heaven 12 steps off of the beach on the north side of Elk River. Being a kid, i would get the folks to drive over to Seaside at least once during a stay in CB, or I made my own path, hiking over the head to Seaside to spend the money i had earned by selling blackberries to the CB Bakery and setting pins at the tenpin bowling alley. it took about 2 or 3 hours, but the folks drove over to bring me back when i was done having fun. The rest of my visits entailed climbing and exploring Tillamook Head, Haystack Rock helping the motorists who would drive too close to the wet sand and get stuck up and over their wheel hubs LOL I love the North Coast. if you have any 40's or 50's pics of CB would like to see them also. Thanks, David
