Hmmm. What does this portend? Freddie's has online grocery ordering and even grocery delivery but nothing from the rest of the store is available online. Is Fred's just going to let Amazon, Target, and Walmart have the online business in everything other than food? It's looking that way.

It['s funny, grocery delivery is the latest thing. Yet half a century ago, grocery delivery was quite common. My best bud Bob's father owned a grocery store in downtown Beaverton and the store had a delivery van. It was the way things were done.

Wish they had kept that front entrance instead of sealing it up and filtering us through the side doors. The area behind that old main entrance was always a dead spot in the store, containing usually seasonal things that you had to go out of your way to find. They might as well have sealed up that entire east side of the store.
