Covered parking as well. M&F installed TVs all around the walls of the lower parking lot so people could watch the party conventions on television for the first time in their lives in 1951. Probably sold hundreds of TV sets that year. my buddy and I went home and played Political Convention in the backyard all summer as well as Cowboys and Founding Fathers.
Are any interior pics available?

I love "Portlands Living Room", but I never stop wondering about what downtown would be like if we still had this grand, old building.
