Yes Joel, I was a carrier for the Portland Reporter and if you sold enough subscriptions to the paper you got to go to Seattle on the bus. It was a one day shot on a Sunday if I recall. Didn`t make it to the Russian pavilion nor the Space Needle-too busy. Had lotsa fun and my Dad pick us up at the Reporter`s offices in NW Portland. Fun times, those

I took a picture of Elvis when he was filming "Take Me to the Fair". I sent it to Mr. Stump, but it is not very good quality.
I recall riding to the top of the Space Needle. When we came down on the elevator and before the operator opened the doors, she said "Everyone smile! Make the people waiting in line think you had a good time". Everyone was laughing as we got off the elevator.
