Visiting Jin (Gene) Kim the owner of Photo Lab in Lake Oswego is like stepping back into a Sandy's Camera Shop! Jin has classic cameras on display along with super 8 movie cameras and on the shelf, FILM!!!! Jin told me there's a new energy with young people shooting film again very much like buying vinyl records at Music Millennium. Jin offers full developing service with state of the art self stations or creating pictures from negatives and film.Super nice guy and a terrific shop.

Art & Dick Sayler opened this iconic restaurant 70 years ago. Today the third generation of the family keeps the 72 ounce steak challenge alive! 10519 SE Stark A great Oregon family owned hands on company.
Try Sea Level Coffee Shop. They are located on the main highway by The Ocean Lodge and Stephanie Inn. Their banana bread is the best on the planet and they proudly serve Stumptown Coffee. It's a cool zone, trust me.
Spike Friedman has built a great spot to have a dog and dress it to your hearts desire. Ask for the coney sauce and then dress it with Walla Walla onion mustard. The sauce recipe goes back to the 1950's with a little added kick. Love the retro but new Coke machine! SPIKES HOT DOGS 900 SW ALDER (across from Rich's Cigars) in the Galleria. 503-BIG-BITE
Next trek downtown visit my pal Spike. You will love these Dogs.
These guys really make a great lunch. Give it a try. Ask for the combination. This cart is cleaner than the best restaurant in town. 5 stars from Mr. Stump. Find them in the line of carts between Alder and Washington on 10th.
My Brother returns a Dollar ( owned by the worst company in America, Hertz) rent-a-car and looks at his bill from the attendant and it had a whopping $133 for a tank fill up!!! He told the attendant that he had plenty of time to fill the tank and return. The creep said, "Forget it, your bill is closed out"
This evil empire has it out for us. Never do business with these crooks.
The Restauranteurs who gave us The Oswego Grill in Lake O and Wilsonville, now treat us to a new brand in Hillsboro on Cornell Rd. The Copper River Restaurant looks like it was drop shipped from Bend Oregon with a very cool rustic feel, massive selection of northwest brews, huge menu for every desire and an energetic staff that knows how to make you feel special. I had their signature Salmon and it was spectacular in taste and presentation. Like The Oswego Grill, a Big Bang for the dollar and a great experience. I'm a bit of a fan as you can tell, going way back with owner Dave Burnett when our store faced his drive in on 82nd & Foster Rd. He came up the ranks with the Pacific Restaurant Group who created Stanford's, City Grill among other brands in our town. His chain of eateries are the model others should learn from, make every customer happy and serve a great meal. Try this, you will enjoy it.
