THE DREADED TAX DAY HAS ARRIVED
April 15th, the day cars will be lined around the post office drop off islands to dump their cash for the U.S Govt to waste. Think about General Electric making $5 billion in U.S. profits alone and not having to pay one dime in taxes. Let me get this right, GE was on their ass from living large, the tax payers bail them out along with many other gangsters, they get a blank balance sheet and start making money hand over the fist and show years of write offs and expenses....end of this tale? They pay no taxes! Lord Paulsons father, Henry Paulson takes home over 300 million smacks in bonus cash from Goldman Sachs and pays no taxes. We are like stupid sheep on the farm, we just follow. Rent the movie "Inside Job" which will blow your mind. This was the Oscar winner for best documentary. It shows clearly how the Banksters took the country down.
FRIDAY 10-31 MELANGE
The concert business is in the worst shape ever, but there are a few shining "sell out" stars still doing remarkably well. U2's most recent tour surpassed the $554 million earned by the Rolling Stones in 2005-2007. Bono and company have taken in over $717 million, sold 3 million tickets and played 110 shows in 30 countries....Who is backing the new Trader Vic's on 12th & Glisan? We hear a parking king is getting into the Poo-Poo platter business....Life in sunny Beverly Hills is getting darker by the hour for Fat Burger owner Andy Wiederhorn. The story reads like a mystery novel over hamburgers and fries....Quite amazing walking through a mall on a slow traffic day and the Apple store is always jammed packed. The I-Pad is changing it all. The lap top seems to be a relic now with Apple forecasting to sell 48 million units this year alone. Dell deserves to feel the hurt, they offer horrible service and their product is crap.
BUZZ ON THE STREET
Most of the buildings housing "Stanford's" Restaurants are on the block. For only 3 million you can own the building on Kruse Way in lake Oswego.....Hall Street Grill in Beaverton is getting a great response for their Saturday and Sunday brunch. There is a reason why they call Hall St & Oba owner Mr. Restaurant.....Have you ever seen so many banks being built? The tarp money is funding their expansion, but try to get a EZ loan!!!! As they say in Jersey, Forget about it....Pink Martini plays the amphitheater in Bend Saturday July 23. This talented bunch have really made their mark on the music scene around the world. Have a happy tax day!
