This Mayor has the lucky touch...Now Sam the Sham is searching for TAXPAYER money to help remake the Rose Quarter. The plan is to build a proposed entertainment center that will be a ghost town after the first gang shooting that will take place. COUNT ON IT. He pitched this to a town hall meeting that had a very negative response. He is telling the folks that the deal will require PUBLIC financing. What a joke this ass is. Here he is asking for MILLIONS when he filed BANKO on his own personal finances. On another note, Sam The Sham is deep in a 25 MILLION dollar law suit due to making a total stink about the development of a new Wal Mart store on Hayden Island. Adams was so opposed to Wal Mart ( when he was a city commissioner) that he posted signs in his City Hall window with the companies logo with a strike across it to make his point. This cost Howard Dietrich (developer) 25 Million bucks in red tape and City nonsense. Wal Mart gave up and walked. Portland could of used those jobs today. Sam Adams is Portland's worst Mayor in history.
Can you imagine what Hayden Island/I5 traffic (already terrible) would be like if they had built that WalMart?!? Nooo thanks...

He is the king of arrogance this Mayor. I'm lucky that my home is in Clackamas County, even though I would like to vote YES for his removal. The whole cast at City Hall is a joke.

Sam Adams will not be thrown out. He should, but he will not. Just my take.

You know what . . . this blog has all the makings of a temper tantrum forum from people whose views were voted out of office eons ago. Pretty pictures can't hide the fact this place is a hate venting place. Congrats on this dubious accomplishment.

And who do you think would be working those jobs at WalMart? Get real. Spend an hour at the Eastport WalMart. Nasty is all I can say.

a job is a job in this depression. I know many laid off CEO's that would take one.
