This was very common at the 1pm afternoon movie (Following Perry Mason)

AND

in the early years of going to
film reports on the 10 o'clock News (Not today but then in the mid 70's)

"Isn't it amazing that TV stations hardly have any transmission problems anymore"...Sure they do! It's called "Digital Television." Thanks for posting that slide; brings back a few memories.

Wow..I sure do remember this during Armchair Theatre!
