Let me tell you, when it is dreary and winter time & I drive by Kruger's Farm Market and it is all closed down for the season, it is a bit depressing to me. I look forward to taking the quick drive from Stumptown to Don Kruger's Fresh Farm Market on Sauvie Island. This is the place for one year olds or 100 year olds! The farm is magnificent where you can take a stroll and see a pig (Don bought it and could not say no!) chickens running around, pick some berries or do it the easy way and buy a flat inside the market. Outside the market are food stands where you can enjoy the freshest & tastiest corn on the cob or have a hot dog loaded with relish & top it off with a lemonade! It is just so darn special this place. Check out Don's farm blog on their web site at www.krugersfarmmarket.com
You will love this place & your kids will thank you! Photo taken today of owner Don Kruger sampling the fresh corn on the cob with or without butter!

The Bybee House (on the way to the market) is a magical place for a picnic. Krugers is inspiring.
