Jack was also a great engineer. Before becoming an engineer exclusively, he did a very popular music show from the studio near the transmitter in the basement of the old KCBQ building in Santee.
I'm told Jack is a regular at Shotgun Tom Kelly's Saturday pool (as in billiards) parties in San Diego. Having recently turned 90, Jack is said to still be capable of running the table.
As popular as he was and is, he was and is also a truly nice guy.
Look's like a twin brother alright!
