YE OLDE TOWNE CRIER IN SOUTHEAST PORTLAND

One of my Dad's favorite restaurants. They had old fashioned service and terrific lunches & dinners. When I was a kid it was always fun to hit their toy treasure box, and then my kids did the same! I miss this place.

SAKS OFF FIFTH COMING TO BRIDGEPORT VILLAGE

The bad news for downtown Portland is Saks packing up & leaving a huge gap in center city. The good news for Bridgeport is Saks will be opening their version of The Nordstrom Rack where the vacated grocery store is located. Bridgeport will make it 51 Saks OFF Fifth stores in the country and it will be a mighty shot in the arm for the shopping center. You thought parking was bad now????? Have no clue how they could of planned that center with the parking lay out they have. That aside, it is a beautiful property and Saks will definitely bring more customers to the outdoor mall.
