They have an offer for 512 million to buy the company which owns the likeness, image of Elvis and Graceland. Elvis continues to be a marketing & money making machine. At the time of Presley's passing he was almost broke.

LENNON'S TOILET SEAT FETCHES $14,740 AT AUCTION

A toilet that belonged to late Beatle John Lennon fetched 9,500 pounds ($14,740) at auction on Saturday, around 10 times its estimate, the sale organizers said.

 

Lennon, who was murdered in New York in 1980, had the porcelain lavatory removed from Tittenhurst Park in Berkshire, southern England, where he lived from 1969 to 1971, and replaced with a new one.

 

The builders who took away the white and blue lavatory were told to "put some flowers in it or something," according to the auction catalog.

 

Builder John Hancock stored it in his shed for 40 years until he died recently and the lavatory was sent for sale, British media reports said.

THEY WERE VERY INTERESTED ABOUT THE AMAZING HISTORY THAT TOOK PLACE AT THE KISN CORNER. I HAVE MANY EMOTIONAL TIES TO 10 NW 10TH AVE INCLUDING THE MEMORY OF MEETING A BEAUTIFUL 18 YEAR OLD GIRL THAT DROVE BY THE WINDOW AND LATER BECAME MY WIFE AND MOM OF TWO GREAT SONS. A BIT SAD THIS MORNING TO BE HONEST. IT WOULD BE GREAT FOR DOC MARTENS TO HANG A FEW PHOTOS OF THE GRAND DAYS AT NW BURNSIDE & 10TH.

MOD SQUAD BABE ~ PEGGY LIPTON IS 63 TODAY

She came close to tying the knot with Elvis Presley, but that never happened due to her focus on Scientology which Elvis thought was a sham. Peggy married & divorced Quincy Jones where they are close friends today. Life has its hurdles even for this beauty. Peggy was diagnosed with colon cancer a few years ago.
