THE HIGHLIGHT OF TONIGHT'S DEBATE? LARS LARSON!

Chris did a good job tonight going up against the career political expert Dr. John...He appeared very human where the Doc was cold as ice wearing that tired old brand of faded blue jeans, open shirt and shaggy hair. Chris looked the part and even though this will be a very tight race,he scored points tonight . The slam dunk winner tonight was Lars Larson during the post debate review. It is a shame KGW did not air this on channel 8 and stuck it on a sub-channel because Lars Larson made absolute mince meat out of the three that were on the panel. Larson's recall of numbers, dates, places and people are really amazing. Lars was also critical of Dudley which shows how professional this veteran of TV & radio is.

THEY NEED TO SHINE IN THE FIRST 30 MINS OF THE DEBATE

 
Only one debate and they are neck to neck in the polls. History shows the first half hour is the time to shine or get that zinger in because viewers typically get bored and start flipping. I'm looking forward to watching Lars Larson after the debate wraps up as he will be on the panel. 7PM tonight on KGW TV

I have posted many photos of the grand old lady, this is a new one! Christened "The Shasta" in 1922 it carried passengers between San Francisco and Oakland until 1937. For years it was a floating restaurant located on the Sellwood and NW Portland Harbors.
