I visted with Miss Malone on her 86th Birthday! She is fine and beautiful as ever. I told her she still had a huge fan base. She said "that's amazing after all these years".

To Jay Payton:

Have you visited Ms. Malone recently, and if so, is she enjoying good health in her retirement?

I have been an admirer of hers for well over fifty years and want to wish Ms. Malone and her family all of God's blessings.

I saw Ms. Malone yesterday 07/31/2012. She was doing wonderfully and we watched some of the Olympics and talked of the recent passings of Ernst Borgnine, Celeste Holm and Tony Martin all of whom she knew and respected. She is still amazed and thrilled that people still remember her and admire her work. She is a wonderul and kind person and still has her beautiful smile and bright blue eyes.

Mr. Payton-

I am glad to hear that Ms. Malone is doing well. I remember meeting her at a family event in Baltimore almost 50 years ago, when I was quite young. At one of the recitals that I recently attended in the chapel at the former St. Charles Seminary, one of the priests remembered that my great uncle, Fr. Vincent Oberle, used to keep Ms. Malone's picture on his desk in the office next to the chapel. I remember being allowed to stay up late to watch the first 5 minutes of an episode of Peyton Place when I was about 5 yrs old. My mother watched faithfully. Now that I'm older, I've been collecting her movies that are available on DVD. Most of my family is gone now, but I would love to hear the stories that she remembers of them.

Would you please send her my best wishes.

I am a younger fan of classic movies (I am 38) and I have always loved Dorothy Malone's acting - she is very underrated. Please give her my good wishes.
