Lots of drama right now during rehearsals for The Oscars. The segments featuring James Franco & Anne Hathaway doing song & dance numbers are so bad that Producers Don Mischer and Bruce Cohen are quickly re-doing the show. Franco's singing is too horrible for words and the two have no jell. This was a huge gamble allowing two "SCRIPTED" actors to host the biggest show in television and now the ringleaders are very nervous. They could of learned from the most recent Grammy Awards where there was no host and the show was outstanding. The Oscars need a major A plus list celebrity to host and these two do not fill the bill.
More of the American Idol mentality at work. You know, if you're over 26 you're chopped liver.

Bring in roastin' Ricky Gervais! Nothing better than making the truth embarrassing.

How about Obama. Oh, I forgot, need someone who doesn't have to work off a script or teleprompter. Never mind.

I know I'm getting old because I don't know these two, nor do I care. The Academy Awards are not relevant anymore, nor are the Grammy's. Most of the show now is about what she was wearing and who he was with, with very little substance.
