USS Impervious (449) laid down in 1951 and commissioned in 1954. USS Fortify (446) and USS Engage (433). These were Agressive class minesweepers and had all been scrapped roughly from 2000-2002. The USS Impervious saw action in the Persian Gulf war.
A classic case of masculinist overcompensation through phallic objects of patriarchal dominance and oppression. Images like this further the impression of an imperial, colonizing nationstate mobilizing its hateforces across the globe.
