Not to "stereotype" anyone, but how are those Linotype (hot lead) union guys doing today?
Talk about buggy whip manufacturing.
No worries, the Oregonian is doing everything it can to commit suicide.

An OSHA inspector would have had a field day in the Linotype room. What an ugly place that was and what a miserable bunch they were. But then who would want such a miserable job.
However, the union boys in the mail room were the nastiest of all.
