MARTIN RAGAWAY...KING OF COMEDY
We know the names of the stars on TV and featured in motion pictures, how about the brilliant minds that write the scripts and match comedy to the personality? Martin Ragaway was the king! Born in 1923 and passed away to sit com heaven in 1989 at age 66. His son lives in Portland and has the best stories of growing up in Hollywood.
Martin invented the mini joke books that were displayed at the check out stands in thousands of grocery stores. Joke books on golf, lawyers, fishing etc. He sold millions.
Martin Ragaway co-wrote the most famous sketch in comedy history. Abbott & Costello's "Who's on First"

Former child actress Erin Moran, who played Joanie Cunningham on Happy Days, is homeless and living in motels with her husband, Steve Fleischmann, the National Enquirer reports.
Moran and Fleischmann had been living with Fleischmann's mother in a trailer in Indiana since their California home was foreclosed upon earlier this year, but the mother recently asked them to leave because of Moran's "nonstop partying," according to the Enquirer. They subsequently moved into a hotel, from which they were also reportedly kicked out because of their "partying and belligerent behavior." The couple is currently moving from motel to motel, the report states.
