President Roosevelt dedicated the sparkling new Bonneville Dam and then traveled by motorcade in a convertible to open Timberline Lodge. The press pool never took photos of FDR being helped or carried around, a local photographer took a series of pics having The President lifted out of the car. On a side note, he was late arriving due to his car breaking down.
