Oregonian Publisher N. Christian Anderson III announced the move Tuesday in a story posted on the newspaper's website.
As of April 2, the entire daily paper will print on pages 15 inches tall by 11 inches wide, roughly the same size as the Portland Business Journal. Some sections of the paper will switch to the new size in February.
Actually but shrinking the page size, the paper should be a bit thicker. But the quality still won't be any better.

I like the new size. It will be easier to read, fold. I prefer to get the daily news via the Oregonian. I have little regard for the usual news channels and their timed coverage and commercial breaks. However, the thing i miss the most is the daily New York Times crossword puzzle.
