Not just a Doctor of Basketball, a real PhD in education.

Hopefully this will be an inspiration for the Blazers to win the championship this year. Dr. Jack was one of the good guys and will always be remembered for the glory he brought to Portland. As my daughter and I were sitting in our seats last night after the Blazers pulled out yet another overtime victory.....she asked me if I had ever been to a more exciting Blazer game. My answer was, "only the 1977 championship game". She said then that Dr. Jack was close to passing and it would be great if the Blazers could win another one for Dr. Jack! I hope they can. R.I.P. City Baby!

Ah, when Portland wasn't a 'down on it's luck' pit stop between Seattle and Frisco. Great memories. Jack was all class.
