Speaking of class, The Beavers had a fielder named Johnny Rucker in the fifties. He would chew snooze(tobacco) and try to spit it at we kids in the cheap bleachers on Vaughn Street.
Those were the days of Joe Brovia, Eddie Basinisky, Ad Liska and Louie Marquize. My spelling is probably off.
