There were two Bohemian Restaurants..this was the downtown one. The other was the Uptown Bohemian in what is now Elephant's Delicatessen on NW 22nd. Before it was Elephant's it was John's Meat Market.

I recall that there was a third Bohemian Restaurant. It was in the Ione Plaza Apartment building. Dining out when I was a kid was a trip into town, usually to the Uptown Bohemian. But special trips were to the Ione Plaza Bohemian, which was just a bit more "upscale" than the Uptown version.

If service was really good, my dad would add a dime to the quarter that was left as a tip.
