I remember the waning days of Quality Pie. It devolved into a filthy joint by the mid-nineties. Unkept, flies all over, low-end greasy-spoon diner with dim-witted misfits working there. So sad.

Hey Stumpman!

Ahhh! The Q.P.

"Where the underworld can meet the elite."

Back before it was "cool" to be weird.

Sunglasses on inside at 3am.

Had a friend who lived right up the road on Marshall, and worked here.. Spent quite a bit of time here.. Memories...

George, ummmm what underworld????

I remember going to the Pie Shop as a kid back in the mid - 50's. I was about 9 or 10 years old. I lived just up Lovejoy between 24th and 25th (among several other places in the NW District). Moved to the East Side about 1957, but my family still went back to the Pie Shop from time to time.

Thanks for posting this pic. Brings back a lot of memories of my youth.
