yes and before needless car accidents!

I can't see a bank of phone booths without remembering that scene in "Airplane" where the reporters all rush the phones only to have the bank fall over. Classic.

People had the good sense to close he doors on the booth back then, rather than yammer on for all to hear.

Do you remember saying "Make it quick-- its long distance"? I found myself saying that to my kids a while back when they called their grandparents, only to then realize it doesn't matter anymore.

When was the last time you dialed "0" for an operator?

Exactly!!!! And don't forget, two year olds didn't have them, unlike mow..
