Memory lane in this picture. What wonderful memories going with Mom & Dad to M&F during Christmas. We would first walk the block looking at the animated displays, one year they had a window of TV's going playing the only station in town KPTV, then up to Toyland and waited for our turn to ride the train. Thanks for this photo. Brought tears to my eyes because I did it with my kids too.

Best times in that store.

We used to walk the block, but I never was allowed to ride the monorail. My mom never allowed me anything cool. My sister, and half brother were allowed those things. Yes, I'm still resentful.

I've never heard why overhead mono-rails aren't a viable transit option.

Good memories there. I got to ride it a last time in the 90s just before it got removed totally.
