I remember going to Bend for the weekend back in the summer of 1971. Had a great time with friends. The whole thing ran me less than $25.

Don't really want to put you on a downer Geoff, but your $25 would require $152 today. Last time I was in Bend -- about two decades back -- I spent more than $25 on dinner at the Pine Tavern.

Ahhh, but they had a most wonderful French Dip sandwich at lunch back in '77!
