Between Sears and Macys there are going to be some huge holes in the local malls. Any guesses on who can fill the empty spaces?

There are, at least, six or eight dark storefronts at Washington Square and Sears and Macy must have at least a third of the Floor space at the mall. Take away the big draws and will anyone go to the malls?

I used to skip school back in the 70's and spend my days playing the 'Flip Flop' pinball game at the Grand Ave. Sears. Evidently they did not find it odd that a couple of middle school aged kids were there more often than not just loitering. But then again the 70's were a pretty odd decade. And I think that the Anzen Japanese market next door is legal grass dealer. Boy, if the could had just kept the humbao to sell to the customers with munchies that would been a business model made in heaven.

The Grand Ave. Sears location was our toughskins and pictures with Santa store, early to mid 1970's.

People ARE going to the malls.....enough of them just aren't shopping at Sears and Macy's. I would love to see M&F comeback and be the way it used to be!

Yes, M&F!!!Sad, Sears is going the way of the dinosaur.. And JC Penneys will be, as welll.
