some time around 1963. I still have one that was from a few years later and it still works! but it wont pick up kisn anymore, just 1550

I`m thinking bout 1960. It was a Motorola. Black. Dials were on top for AM radio(only)volume and channel selection was on the side. 9 Volt battery.
