Wake up! Wake up! Wrestling was on KPTV every Saturday night, 11:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Bob McAnulty and Frank Bonnema are disappointed in you, JIP. Just a senior moment, I presume.
No curojo, I hated Friday night wrestling as a kid. I worked with McAnulty and he told me they all knew it was fake, but don't say that to the guys who were faking it. Bob was expected to fake terror whenever the wrestlers threatened him.
I watched this show a lot until I got my first job working nights! way before the first vcrs came out! it was a hoot!

My friend Chris loved this show, so much that he didn't want to stay out late on Saturday nights. Me, not so much.
I never got into Friday Night Wrestling either, but my friend Bob thought it was real.

A make-up artist named E. Larry Day was working on the show. I think he was still in Hi School then.
