Though there appear to be 2 or 3 in the picture, if you look closely at the Grand Ave. entrance in the center, you will see the popcorn wagon that used to set in front of that entrance. It was run by a little old man and he had some sort of physical disability. I remember his wagon was an old "Model AA" Ford. My dad used to always buy us popcorn and a candied apple if we had been really good! I also remember Robert Hall Clothes across the street. We'd sometimes get to get our school clothes there too!
My dad worked for Sears and we were transferred and moved to Tualatin in 1975 so he could work at the Washington Square store. My dad would also come home with swedish fish and popcorn from the candy counter if we were being good...
