She deserves to be considered for Time Magazine's Person of the Year. He deserves to be removed from office outlined through the 25th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Our Country's #1 contributor to global warming: severe oral flatulence

This jerk is a complete and total POS.

I've emailed my Representative in Congress and asked her to immediately get on the impeachment train. I hope you will too. These people need to hear how their constituents feel, and moreover how they'll vote.

Fun to watch the incompetence exhibited by the PR mayor.... She should actually attend FEMA meetings before she blathers more lunacy...

Gee ed, Mayor Cruz is actually there in the middle of the catastrophe. She's been sleeping -- very little -- on a cot. dumb donnie isn't there. It's too bad there are gullible mooks like you around who believe every lie he tells.

Oh, and by the way, Cruz isn't the mayor Puerto Rico, she's the mayor of San Juan.

You might want to check yourself on that incompetence thingy.

Mayor asked for help for the people and that, at the time, appeared to be wanting/lacking. Where is her incompetence? She made no reference to going after the President with negativity. He did come after her as you know.

Let`s hope the situation improves daily as it appears the help is on the way and things are looking up.

In another story...it shows the mayor in the water while DT is golfing. That may be photoshopped but let`s hope for the best. One day it may be us....just my 2 cents. Feel free to respond.

In the outskirt areas people are really suffering, many will die. Everything from no insulin to chemo bags, water, shelter, food. FUCK TRUMP THAT ASSHOLE.

Wish it were NOW:

How do we abolish something whose existence has spanned the lifetime of our great nation?

We must make sure our democracy doesn’t ever again elect a candidate who loses the popular vote. That means making the Electoral College irrelevant.

Here’s how: As you probably know, the Constitution assigns each state a number of electors based on the state’s population. The total number of electors is 538, so any candidate who gets 270 of those Electoral College votes becomes president.
Article II of the Constitution says states can award their electors any way they want. So all that’s needed in order to make the Electoral College irrelevant is for states with a total of at least 270 electors to agree to award all their electoral votes to the presidential candidate who wins the popular vote.
If they do that, then automatically the winner of the popular vote gets the 270 electoral college votes he or she needs to become president.
Already 10 states and the District of Columbia have passed laws to do this – awarding all their electoral votes to the candidate who wins the popular vote, as soon as the 270 elector goal is met. Together, these states total 165 electoral votes.
So all we need now is some additional states with 105 electors to pass the same law, agreeing to reward all their electoral votes to the winner of the popular vote – and it’s done. We’ll never again elect a president who loses the popular vote.
The effort is known as the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. If your state hasn’t yet joined on, make sure it does.

Robert B. Reich is the Chancellor’s Professor of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley, and a senior fellow at the Blum Center for Developing Economies. He served as secretary of labor in the Clinton administration, and Time magazine named him one of the 10 most effective cabinet secretaries of the 20th century.

Several bills to make Oregon a part of the NPVIC failed in the 2017 Oregon legislature. Time to send emails to the Speaker of the House, the President of the Senate and your individual representative and senator and tell them you support the NPVIC.

Washington and California are both signatories. If the US Congress won't do the right thing and eliminate the Electoral College, it's time to force the matter with the NPVIC. Get those emails going.

For the record, the signatory states are:
New York
New Jersey
Rhode Island
