You`ve run a spot on her before so thanks Stumpy. My first job, Spring of `65, washed dishes for minimum wage--buck twenty 5 an hr. for starters. She was a bit difficult to work for when she found her hubby, Bob, was sleeping with the help.
I started at $1.25 not $1.50. In those days they had a "training wage" Of $1.15 for the first 30 days. Since I knew Sylvia( I cut her grass as a grade school kid) I was able to start at $1.25. Hope that clears that one up.

Lee, you got 1.50 in 65? Dang.. I got 1.15 an hr at Fred Meyer in the mid 70s, and I had cashier experience, so I was put there! 'Lucky dog'...

Jann, I hoped you enjoyed it because you were getting screwed. The federal minimum, at the time, was a buck an hour more.
