In 1969 it was a thrill to see Little Richard waiting for his luggage at Kennedy Airport. It was less of a thrill over 30 years later when I met him backstage prior to his show in Portland. He was screaming and yelling at his staff for the smallest stuff. I was ready to announce him on stage and decided to get in my car and go home. He ranks as the worst celebrity I ever encountered.
