What a fabulous place for a residence!! Telling people 'you cant miss it' takes on a whole new meaning. And I have this book, very nice.. such beautiful places that once formed our city, mostly eradicated for glass and steel.... and gee, funny, Saks Fifth Ave had a place downtown, torn down for Apple... ironic? Thank goddess for those who maintain our history!!
It's interesting what has become of some of these old firehouses, but I didn't know any had become homes. Pretty neat to tell people you live in an old fire station.
