im just wondering why ringo would take a random photo of people driving in a car? also why didn't they make it to the concert?

Yeah, if Ringo was about to perform a show, seems that about the last place you'd find him would be out driving around with the folks headed to the show... performers always arrive at least a couple of hours before curtain time... at least. I call BS...

This photo appears in a book of photos published by Ringo Starr. On 2/7/64 a group of New Jersey teens left their high school to see the Beatles as they arrived at JFK Airport, but with 4,000 fans and hundreds of press at the airport the headed back home. On the Van Wyck Expressway a group of police escorted limo's passed them, so they sped up and Ringo took the photo from his limo. A story in USA Today in OCT. 2013 with the headline "Found! The story of Ringo"s enigmatic 1964 photo" tells the story.
