Randy was inspired to enter the world of broadcasting thanks to legendary announcer Johnny Olson. Randy started out on radio station WRNW in surburban New York city. His radio journey led to market number 2 in Los Angeles on KMGG-Magic 106. Randy's TV career kicked off with Hour Magazine followed with shows produced by Dick Clark, Group W and other major players. His TV voice work still continues with CBS network. You also heard Randy on The Price is Right and many other TV game shows. Randy is on the board of many broadcast Academys and published a book on the life of Johnny Olson titled "A Voice in Time"

Or, it could be Dano that The Price is Right is taped weeks in advance in huge batches and it was weeks after Olsen's death that they were taping.
