It opened years ago as a mall and medical offices. It struggled for years after with a few merchants and medical. The owners never backed the stores paying fair rent in a dying center. Now it will become apartments and restaurants. Nothing stays the same, that’s for sure.
•Note; Blue Moon Coffee Shop has relocated to downtown Lake Oswego. Glad to see them in a great location.

On Google Maps it appears the place across Kruse Way has also been torn down and is being -- or has been -- replaced by a new building. Anyone know what has happened there. I used to eat lunch in a quaint little wine shop/cafe that was right on the corner of Kruse Way and Boone's Ferry.

Both buildings are now half gone. Huge apartment complex is going there

It's looking like the apartment market is back. They're building a huge complex just down the street. Very high-end place, the smallest (less than 600 sq. ft., one bed, one bath) starts at $1375 a month. The place is two buildings, each five stories tall. The largest (2bdr, 2 ba, with a tiny loft) is $3000.
If it'll make Jann and john feel better, several old dumps (a couple of them unoccupied) with boarded-up windows and weeds growing tall around them were torn down to build the apartments.
